Kahn tweet causes unrest after the game
Salihamidzic discussed the situation with Bayern President Herbert Hainer, who then confirmed the report. Kahn did not travel to Cologne at all. The club explained this with a cold. The former goalkeeper himself rejected this. Instead, he tweeted that he was staying away at the behest of those responsible.
“I would like to celebrate with you, but unfortunately I can’t be with you today because the club has forbidden me,” wrote Kahn after winning the championship: “I always told you! Always give everything to the end and never give up.” And Bayern didn’t really give up – and surprisingly grabbed the championship title.
