When the regime suggested that Iranian human rights activist Narges Mohammadi follow her husband into exile when she was offered the chance to secretly leave the country via Kurdistan, she refused. Even if the government would have liked to get rid of the critical voice, it remained. Narges Mohammadi has now been arrested and is being held in the notorious Evin Prison on the outskirts of Tehran.
