Apple provides a remedy here. Because on the iPhone a hidden mouse function helps to navigate precisely through texts.
And this is how it works: To activate the cursor mouse, you don’t even need to go to the settings.
Simply hold down the space bar, the keyboard is then hidden and you can move the cursor like you would on a trackpad on a laptop.
The function is offered on all iPhones running iOS 12 or later. Android smartphones with the Gboard keyboard also support the mouse function.
