It is a discovery of very bad taste which was made, Sunday, in front of the consulate of the kingdom of Morocco located in Biguglia, in Haute-Corse. A severed head of a wild boar was found around 1 p.m. outside the door of the building. The Bastia prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for “provoking discrimination and racial hatred”, we learned from a judicial source. The Departmental Directorate of Public Security of Haute-Corse is in charge of the investigations.
The head was quickly removed. No inscription or claim were found on the spot. In a press release, Michel Prosic, prefect of Haute-Corse, “condemns in the strongest terms this unacceptable act and expresses its full support for the Consul General of Morocco and his collaborators, as well as for all Moroccan nationals residing in the Department “.

Contacted, Najoua El Berrak, Consul General of Morocco in Corsica, indicated “also condemns (r) the facts”. “There are no results of the investigation yet.
