Lyon Mag, when a 9-year-old girl was the victim of a sexual assault in Vénissieux (Rhône). The young victim, who was walking home, was in the courtyard of a building in the Minguettes district at the time of the incident.
The alert was given by a local resident, who called the police after having surprised an individual, pants down, trying to sexually assault the child. The police immediately arrested on the spot “a 34-year-old Moroccan, in an irregular situation and without a fixed address”, explains the Lyon prosecutor’s office. The suspect was identified by the witness as the perpetrator. The girl was hospitalized for tests.
