The photographer Wolfgang Tillmans, one of the most successful German artists, has experience in political campaigns. In 2016 he designed posters against Brexit, and in 2019 he campaigned to take part in the European elections. This time he took a different route. He donated 50,000 euros to the SPD. This can be found on the Bundestag website, where every donation over 35,000 euros is published. Here he tells us what motivated him and what’s next for him.
