The phone only rings twice, then Eva Demski is already on the line and in her Frankfurt apartment she is talking about her life’s work, anarchism, as cheerfully as others about a failed Christmas party among colleagues. Since she pulled a piece of paper with a big “A” on it from her privet hedge in 2017 (the garbage collector wanted to draw attention to herself with “A like Garbage”), the writer decided to finally publish a colorful book from her decades-long passion for collecting, filled with everyday observations, portraits and forays into politics and history, which has now been published as “My Anarchist Album” by Insel-Verlag.
