In the eighties, the young Julien Temple landed first a hit, the documentary “The Great Rock’n’Roll Swindle” about the Sex Pistols, and then a flop, the feature film “Absolute Beginners” with Patsy Kensit, to the music of David Bowie. Since then, the Brit has been making music videos and documentaries about musicians, most recently “Shane” – about the excessive life of the PoguesFounder and singer Shane MacGowan. It has become a moving film. For the video interview, Julien Temple sat down in front of a wall of shelves in his country house in England.
