Jörg Schmadtke, 58, seems pretty relaxed when he receives an interview at the VfL Wolfsburg office. Schmadtke will now be retiring at the end of the month, but before that he has a lot to tell. And you can’t shake the feeling: Looking back on his career gives him more pleasure than he expected.
