Interview with Franz Rogowski: “I was looking” – culture

In the film “Passages” by Ira Sachs, Franz Rogowski plays the homosexual director Tomas, who sleeps with Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos) after a party, then ends up in bed with her, then again with his husband Martin (Ben Whishaw). Both are strangers to Tomas’ volatility. Especially in the USA, where Rogowski was previously unknown, he is celebrated for his performance, the “toxic triangle” (New York Times) of the film much discussed.
