Tobias Schmid stands for media politics like few others in the country. As head of the state media authority in North Rhine-Westphalia, he was most recently involved in the so-called public value statutes of the state media treaty. From September onwards, it will decide on the social value of private media with the remaining 13 state media authorities and the Commission for Approval and Supervision of the State Media Authorities (ZAK). And what they get if they don’t just show reality TV and movies.
