Interview by

Aurelie von Blazekovic

Nicole Mayer-Ahuja is professor for the sociology of work, business and economics in Göttingen. Together with Oliver Nachtwey from the University of Basel, she has published the book “Misunderstood service providers: inside”, an anthology about work in systemically relevant professions with reports and interviews from the meat industry, 24-hour care and the Amazon logistics center.
