Elon Musk takes sides for Twitter users who have suffered professional disadvantages from activities on the platform. He offers to cover all legal fees.

tech billionaire In his own words, Elon Musk wants to cover users’ legal fees if they have suffered disadvantages at work due to activities on the Twitter platform. “No upper limit,” promised Musk, known for his right-wing views, on the Twitter platform he renamed X.

“And we will not only sue. It will be extremely loud and we will also target the boards of directors of the companies,” Musk later added. He also immediately found a first case worthy of support: a woman who claims that she lost her job after making comments in the debate about whether trans women should be allowed to use women’s toilets.

Musk has recently appeared more with right-wing positions. He regularly rails against the “woke brain virus” that is destroying society. In doing so, he joins those who claim that fighting various forms of discrimination goes too far. In the past, Musk has accused the media of being “racist” against whites – and currently claims that the “New York Times” supports calls for white genocide in South Africa. He wrote again that the Jewish financier George Soros hates humanity and criticized “the aggressive legal action” against ex-President Donald Trump as “not right”.

“We” will cover the legal costs

The tech billionaire came to the purchase of Twitter for around 44 billion dollars in autumn 2022 with the promise of “absolute freedom of speech”. In the weeks that followed, several Twitter employees were fired after disagreeing with him on the service.

Musk wrote that “we” will pay the legal costs, signaling that the money should come from the online platform. He recently admitted that advertising revenues are still only half what they were before the takeover – and that the company is spending more than it is taking in. In the months following the takeover, Twitter made a name for itself several times with unpaid bills.
