Both Charles and his Camilla and William and his Kate gave the Queen a sweet message for Women’s Day.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8th and this year’s platinum throne anniversary, Prince William (39), Duchess Kate (40), Prince Charles (73) and Duchess Camilla (74) dedicate to the Queen a few loving words on Instagram. “Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Head of State, the Queen’s extraordinary reign surpassed that of any other monarch in British history – she inspired a nation and dedicated her life to serving the Commonwealth and its people,” reads the post .

“Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Head of State”

A whole series of photos was shared, initially showing a few black and white photos of Elizabeth II when she was younger. In other pictures, the monarch can be seen with Kate and William in the garden, with Camilla and a bouquet of flowers at a public appointment or with her red box in the audience room.

A last photo shows the Queen together with her husband Prince Philip (1921-2021), who died in 2021, and their grandchildren, including Prince George (8) and Princess Charlotte (6).
