FC Bayern Munich’s 5-1 defeat in Frankfurt also made headlines in the international press. We summarize the reactions.

Frankfurt – FC Bayern Munich went down quietly at Eintracht Frankfurt. Coach Thomas Tuchel’s team received a bitter 5-1 defeat, making their first defeat of this Bundesliga season a debacle. It is not the first time that the record champions on the Main have fallen apart. On November 2nd, 2019, the score was also 1:5 from the Reds’ perspective – it was supposed to be the last game for then coach Niko Kovac.

In the defeat four years ago, Bayern were outnumbered for a long time after an early red card against Jerome Boateng. This time there should be other reasons for the embarrassment – the Munich team appeared surprisingly vulnerable, especially in defense, and the back four were in trouble tz-Individual criticism therefore six.
