Installation by Russian director Marina Davydova: Ghosts of History – Culture

On the day the war began, the Russian director Marina Davydova fled to the West via adventurous routes, first via the Baltics to Bulgaria, then to Berlin, where she now lives with her family as an emigrant. In Moscow she was editor-in-chief of the leading theater magazine “Teatr” and part of the dissident art scene; her distance from the Putin regime was always crystal clear. Now she is showing her oppressive production “Museum of Uncounted Voices”, a co-production with the Vienna Festival Weeks and the Theater Freiburg, at the Berlin theater HAU Hebbel am Ufer.
