At the beginning of the week there was an express message: protective shield proceedings and impending insolvency at the organic supermarket chain Basic, which started its triumphal march in 1998 with a shop plus bistro in Munich. Georg Schweisfurth is one of the co-founders of the AG and follows events with great interest. The operator of Gut Sonnenhausen, as the son of Karl Ludwig Schweisfurth, one of the first visionaries in the field of organic farming (Herrmannsdorfer Landwerkstätten), started to get people to rethink in the long term with the help of modern organic supermarkets. In 2004, Georg Schweisfurth withdrew from the board, and a few years later he sold some of his shares.
