Taking advantage of a medical extraction, an inmate of Osny prison escaped. An accomplice injured a prison officer by shooting him.
This Tuesday evening, an inmate of the Osny remand center escaped, BFMTV learned from the prison administration, confirming information from Europe 1.
The man was the subject of a medical extraction to the hospital of Pontoise, whereas he had been discovered in his cell in the process of mutilating himself. Once in the hospital parking lot, an accomplice opened fire on an officer. The latter was injured but, thanks to his bulletproof vest, his life is not in danger. He is currently undergoing complementary care.
After the shooting, the detainee managed to escape, accompanied by his accomplice. He is currently wanted by the police.
