A man dressed as a tree scared a cyclist in Ingolstadt. So much so that the 45-year-old fell and injured himself, the police said on Thursday.
The woman was out and about with her husband in a city park on Wednesday and described the situation to the investigators as follows: The man, who was dressed up in plastic ivy leaves, among other things, suddenly jumped out of a large flower pot with outstretched arms towards her. The unknown man did offer her his help, but then disappeared with the larger flower pot. The police are now looking for other witnesses to the strange situation.
