Ingenious trick: how to peel garlic quickly and cleanly

Watch the video: How to peel garlic quickly and cleanly.

Who doesn’t know this: When you peel and cut garlic, your fingers no longer smell pleasant afterwards. There is a simple trick to avoid this. And it goes like this. We need a whole head of garlic and a mason jar. The tuber is simply placed in the jar, the lid closed and the jar shaken vigorously. You can quickly see how the toes detach from the tuber. If you continue to shake, the peel will also come off the garlic cloves. Finished! And easy as pie! Simply pour the peeled cloves onto a plate and rinse them briefly with water so that they are completely peel-free. They can then be stored in a freezer bag in the refrigerator. Or in a mason jar: olive oil over it and you have delicious pickled garlic.
