As one of the most successful influencers in Germany, Caro Daur is a regular guest at every fashion week. She is a model, designer and can now also be seen in film and television.

In the last few days, the fitness influencer has shown how successful models deal with the problems of everyday life. After an accident while jogging, she appeared on social media with a bloody and severely swollen eye.

No problem for a star of her size. Fashion events and jobs still take place, just with large but no less stylish sunglasses. Katharina Carolina “Caro” Daur turns 27 today.

Childish creativity professionalized

Even as a child, the native of Hamburg liked to rummage through her mother’s clothes, tried out different styles and thus developed a pronounced fashion awareness at an early age. She documented her fashion thoughts, considerations and implementations in photographs and commented on them in English on her blog, which quickly had over 250,000 readers and was structured like a virtual diary.

The daughter of a lawyer and a manager and her big sister enjoyed a sheltered childhood, but Daur was still supposed to find her own income. She gave private tuition and later worked alongside her business studies, which she gave up early for her career, as a working student for a personnel consulting agency.

Started as an influencer

Caro Daur is now one of the most successful influencers in Germany. She has over 3.5 million followers on Instagram and is considered a person whose opinion counts in business. She flies all over the world for jobs and interviews. In the meantime she has had engagements with big brands such as Adidas, MAC or Dolce & Gabbana. She was also allowed to try her hand as a designer. She developed fishnet tights for the women’s underwear brand Calzedonia, a lipstick for MAC and an entire sneaker collection for the Italian sports shoe label Superga.

The model has also found its place in film and television. In German shows like “Late Night Berlin”, “Inas Nacht” or “Das Traumschiff” she is a welcome guest and up for all kinds of fun without worrying about her image.

To date, she has no management and takes care of her own orders.

Commitment and celebrity relationship

In 2017, Daur was described as “one of the most influential Germans” by the trade magazine “Werben und Sellen”. A year later she was the campaign ambassador for “Youth and Aids”. In early 2021, she and her boyfriend, podcaster and presenter Tommi Schmitt, made their relationship public.
