A dark history of money with the ex-in-laws? Hong Kong police say they have arrested four people for the murder of 28-year-old model and influencer Abby Choi, whose body was dismembered. This is the ex-husband of Abby Choi, arrested this Saturday when he tried to flee the city by boat, as well as his father, his mother and his older brother, arrested the day before.
The partial remains of influencer Abby Choi, who appeared on the fashion magazine’s digital cover last week The Official Monaco, were found in a village house fitted out to skin her, according to the police. She had been missing since Wednesday.
“We are still looking for the head” and officers are searching a nearby cemetery, said Alan Chung, a Hong Kong police chief, after revealing the discovery of female limbs inside a refrigerator.
“Two pots of stew suspected of containing human tissue” were left at the scene, along with an electric saw and a meat grinder used to cut up human flesh.

“We believe that the victim and her ex-husband’s family had numerous arguments over large sums,” said Alan Chung. Someone was unhappy with the victim’s handling of his assets, which became a motive for killing.
Abby Choi was reportedly last seen by her ex-husband’s brother, who was her driver. Police said the family had previously lied to fool investigators. The house where Abby Choi’s remains were found was rented recently and was unfurnished, suggesting the place had been prepared to dispose of the body, police said.
