Marcel Fratzscher, 51, is considered an influential government advisor. In an interview, the President of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) has both praise and criticism for her: she misjudges the social dimension of the crisis. He thinks the new compensating screen is big enough. However, he fears that the money will reach the people and companies affected too late and that too much will be distributed by watering can.
