The German women have once again won the European Championship title in indoor hockey. The defending champions won the final in Berlin 3:2 (1:1) against Poland. Laura Saenger scored the winning goal (40th minute) with the final penalty corner.

The Hamburger (31st) had previously taken the lead for the first time with a seven-meter penalty before Sandra Tatarczuk (32nd) equalized. Previously, Elisa Gräve (15th) had equalized the early lead with Tatarczuk’s (3rd) penalty corner goal, after which Tara Duus (19th) missed the 2-1 from seven meters.

For the record champion, who also qualified for the 2025 World Cup, it is the 17th title at the 22nd European Indoor Championships.
