Twitter had initially delayed the submission of the required materials – and had taken legal action against it. Now special counsel Jack Smith has received the documents after all.

In the United States, special counsel Jack Smith has documents in connection with the investigation of ex-President Donald Trump received twitter. This is according to a court document. Accordingly, a court approved Smith’s application in January. However, the documents were under lock and key.

It now says that the short message service Twitter – which has recently been called X – only submitted the complete documents several days after the deadline had expired. As a result, the company was fined $350,000.

According to the court document, Smith requested data and information on Trump’s previous Twitter account. It also states that the court found “reasonable cause to search the Twitter account for evidence of criminal activity.” Twitter initially delayed the submission of the required materials and took legal action.

The special counsel is investigating Trump’s attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and the post-presidency post-presidency post-secret document affair. Trump has now been charged in both cases. The court documents that have now been released do not reveal what information Smith received from Twitter. Trump lost the election to current President Joe Biden. Next year he wants to go back to the White House for the Republicans.
