Bethesda has released the first gameplay trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and the game will be released in 2024.
In it you get a first impression of the story, different locations and the gameplay.
You are Indy
Developer Machine Games’ goal was for you to “not just play Indiana Jones, but be Indiana Jones.”
The game is played from the first person perspective, but in some sequences, such as climbing, the game also switches to the third person perspective.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle takes place between the first and third films, so you take on the Nazis again as opponents.
Indy’s journey takes him to Rome, among other places, and you have to use his cleverness and thinking to solve various situations. Other locations that could be seen include a jungle or Egypt.
Of course, you can use your whip and have various options for solving encounters with enemies, for example as quietly as possible. In the end you have a mix of stealth, gunplay and close combat. It’s up to you how you prefer to proceed.
