The NBA has a reputation for being unplayable when it comes to honoring its legends. Tony Parker has regularly had proof of this, whether during the Spurs’ gigantic ceremony for the retirement of his number 9 jersey in 2019 or for his induction last August into the Hall of Fame, the pantheon of American basketball.
