The gas storage tanks are filling up, the coalition is working on relief, the sun is shining. But the probability of a serious supply shortage is greater than ever.

It’s getting a little more uncomfortable in German offices. It should only have 19 degrees there in winter, according to the new German energy saving regulation. The inner cities are getting darker because shop windows and the facades of buildings worth seeing are no longer illuminated. And nobody swims in the warm private pool this winter. It all seems desperate in the face of the energy crisis, but it’s better than nothing. Unfortunately, it won’t be enough, not for a long time.
