in Toulon, twenty-two people arrested in cocaine trafficking

Traffic governed by the family and a workforce recruited in the Paris region. Twenty-two people were arrested in Toulon, in the Var, on Tuesday in an investigation into vast cocaine trafficking, reports France Blue Var.

The traffic was managed by a family which employed small hands recruited in Paris and which was changed every month. For its business, the small company had requisitioned a four-storey building in a rather quiet city and recorded a turnover estimated at 10,000 euros per day. Some of the residents who had denounced the traffic had suffered reprisals and threats, specifies the public radio.
