Not only folk festivals are planned for the summer, but also a festival. Its motto: Mallorca is only once a year. However, the location is not the Ballermann, but the Dachauer In Center. Can this go well?
The longing for a little light-heartedness, it was probably seldom as great as it is now. One can therefore safely assume that the folk festivals in Dachau and Markt Indersdorf will be well attended despite Corona. But that’s apparently not enough of the opportunities to drink the world a little nicer than it is.
According to a Facebook event, this year still has a very special treat in store – at least if you celebrate hits like “Johnny Däpp” or “The tap has to run, drink, morning noon, evening”. Apparently it’s not an April Fool’s joke Lorenz Buffalo and Ingo without flamingo guest in Dachau in June and also the Almklausi, Johnny Steam and DJ Robin give themselves the honor – and of course not just anywhere, but on the “Open Air Grounds on In center” in Dachau-Ost. One can assume that this is the parking lot of the shopping center.
“The biggest Mallorca festival in your region” is really no slouch: Pyrotechnics should create an atmosphere as well as the use of confetti cannons. But that’s not all: real fans even have the unique chance of a photo with the “Mallorca superstars” – and be honest: who hasn’t always wanted to be with a man wearing a duck mask and a flamingo suit , take a picture?
So you really can’t blame the festival organizers for not trying everything to bring “the unbelievable celebration feeling from Mallorca to Dachau”. Only: Anyone who has ever been to an Oktoberfest outside of Munich knows that the Wiesn is ultimately just a mixture of a few tents, lots of beer and bad music, but that this mixture has to be right. And she only does that on the Theresienwiese.
The same should probably apply to Ballermann, the epicenter of German hits on Mallorca. After all, Dachau is not even an island. The organizers don’t seem to care, true to the motto: Dachau or Malle, the main thing is to party!
