In the Champions League against Porto: Cristiano Ronaldo clashed with Juan Cuadrado at Juventus Turin
Juventus Turin experienced a disappointment last season when they lost the Champions League against FC Porto. Cristiano Ronaldo was pissed off.
During the last 16 second leg in the Champions League between Juventus Turin and FC Porto last season, Cristiano Ronaldo broke his collar at half-time. As scenes from the documentary “All or Nothing: Juventus” show, the superstar criticized his teammates during the half-time break and threw his jersey on the floor in anger. He also clashed with Juan Cuadrado.
At this point, Juve were 0: 1 behind, with an overall score of 1: 3, the old lady was threatened with death. Ronaldo loudly demanded more effort from his teammates. “We have to work harder! What the hell! We don’t play at all, nothing!” Ronaldo rumbled: “We play shit all the time!” Cuadrado then urged Ronaldo to lead by example himself.

And Juve showed a reaction. The Turin team turned the game around within 20 minutes, and the 2-1 meant extra time. There, Porto scored 2-2 five minutes before the end and thus the decisive one more away goal, as Juve only scored 3-2 through Adrian Rabiot shortly afterwards.
Porto progressed through the away goals rule, which has not been valid since this season, and Juve suffered a bitter disappointment. In the league, the Bianconeri just managed to get a place in the Champions League. Ronaldo’s time at Juve ended in the summer when he moved to Manchester United.
