MISCELLANEOUS FACTS – New drama in the Parisian suburbs. A young man who was riding a scooter in Aubervilliers, in Seine-Saint-Denis, north of Paris, died this Wednesday, March 13 in the evening after the collision of his two-wheeler with a police car, AFP learned from police source.

The death of the driver, born in 2005, was declared a few hours after the events, which took place in the early evening. He suffered a first cardiac arrest before being resuscitated and transported to hospital, according to this source.

According to a source close to the investigation, city cameras filmed the events. The witnesses met on site by AFP refuted the police theory of refusal to comply.

Two investigations have been opened, indicated the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office. The first was entrusted to the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN). The second, for aggravated refusal to comply, was entrusted to the judicial accident processing service of the police headquarters.
