He is the flagship presenter of M6, one of the French’s favorite presenters. Stéphane Plaza (Search for apartment or house, House for sale, Apartment hunters, etc.) is said to have been guilty of violence against three of his former companions. Two of these ex-partners testified directly to Mediapart, the third did not speak but the information site was able to consult her testimony with a bailiff.
The 53-year-old host would have been violent throughout several distinct relationships experienced in parallel, according to testimonies collected by Mediapart which lists physical, psychological violence, threats or denigration. The real estate agent is said to have, among other things, turned several fingers of one of his ex-partners during “a fit of anger”, after the latter revealed their relationship which was to remain secret. He would have broken her ring finger, confided the young woman. She then said to herself “he’s going to kill me”.
None of the three ex-partners filed a complaint
Another, named Eva by Mediapart, said she was “afraid of him”. “He told me that if he saw me with someone, he would kill me,” she assured while Stéphane Plaza also bit her.
For her part, Stéphane Plaza’s lawyer denounced “totally extrapolated, even false allegations” and “fanciful accusations”. She also recalled that the host had filed a criminal complaint for “harassment and cyberharassment” last June. None of the three ex-partners of the host who testify to this violence Mediapart did not file a complaint. One of them had submitted a handrail in September 2022.
