in Lyon, a nurse beaten up for a remark is still in a coma

A 58-year-old man is still in a coma after being violently attacked on Saturday morning in Lyon. The nurse was about to go to work when he asked an 18-year-old to move his car which, parked in front of his garage, prevented him from going out. The latter would not have appreciated the remark and would have been angry.

Suspected of having hit the victim in the head, he was brought before the Lyon prosecutor’s office on Tuesday, noted Progress. If he acknowledged the facts, he however minimized them, evoking a simple “jostling”. The nurse was found at 6 a.m., unconscious and lying on the ground at the bottom of his building.

A neighbor found it. This is also the mother of the suspect. When help arrived, the young man had already fled. He was arrested the next day in Rillieux-la-Pape.
