“In Her Car”: When the war in Ukraine is so close and yet distant

Filmed in a setting created by Russian bombs: The new series “In Her Car” tells of the new everyday life in Ukraine, where the war is omnipresent but also fades into the background.

The television series “In Her Car” doesn’t need much more to show the war in Ukraine in a completely different way than the news on the radio. The psychologist Lydia, played by the wonderful Anastasia Karpenko, stays in the country after the Russian army attacked Ukraine and helps harassed people escape.
