Four medical students report for duty. How do the newbies fare in the evening series “In All Friendship – The Young Doctors”?

These four will celebrate their premiere on February 29th in several ways: with Tamar Hummel (Linda Kummer, 24), Oliver “Olli” Probst (Arne Kertész, 27), Ivo Maric (Jakob D’Aprile, 28) and Sofia Galura (Olivia Papoli-Barawati, 28), four medical students are joining “In aller Friendship – The Young Doctors”. The four newcomers are completing their practical year (PJ) at the Johannes Thal Clinic. They are not only fighting for their place within the medical team led by Prof. Dr. Karin Patzelt (Marijam Agischewa, 65). They are also vying for the attention of the viewers, whom they will meet for the first time on February 29th at 6:50 p.m. on Das Erste.

New territory for the four PJers

You are in the final stage of your medical studies – and yet you are entering new territory. For the four young doctors, starting on the ward brings with it as many hopes as it does challenges. How are they received by their colleagues? How do you deal with the internal hierarchies and your medical responsibilities? Ivo seems to be able to score points with his self-confidence. But what does it look like behind the facade? Olli, on the other hand, seems unsure. Will he find his role in the new environment? Sofia and Tamar are ambitious and strong personalities. Both know each other from their studies. Will their old rivalry flare up again or will they work as a team in an emergency? Answers to these questions can be found every Thursday at 6:50 p.m. on “In aller Friendship – The Young Doctors”.
