At least one gunshot shook the Moulins district again, this early Thursday afternoon, west of Nice. A person was quickly arrested on the spot, told 20 minutes the public prosecutor of Nice, without further details at this stage. A person would also have been injured which could lead to believe in a settling of scores.
“A victim seems to have been affected”, thus clarified “without certainty” Xavier Bonhomme. There is evidence on the spot, but the individual in question has not been found and could be “on the run”.
In June, twenty people were arrested, after a year of investigation, following a high-profile shooting in July 2020 in this same sensitive area of Nice, which had motivated the arrival of the Prime Minister.
