RTL announces Legends Jungle Camp
Jan Köppen and Sonja Zietlow have announced it: The jungle camp will enter a new round in late summer.

The jungle camp moderators Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen announce an all-stars season. The adventure begins in South Africa in the summer.
Jungle camp fans don’t have to wait as long as usual for supplies: like Sonja Zietlow (55) and Jan Köppen (40) on Monday As we revealed at the big reunion of the current jungle campers around jungle queen Lucy Diakovska (47), the TV show is going into a new round this year. “We’ll be back in the summer – with an all-stars relay,” announced Zietlow. “After 20 years of jungle camp, twelve former jungle stars are embarking on the adventure of their lives again. In South Africa.”

RTL is still keeping to itself who exactly will be there in “I’m a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends”. What is certain, however, is that Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen will be there as a moderation duo, as will jungle veteran Dr. Bob (73). Like himself, he is already looking forward to the “jungle show special with all the legends” in late summer in a clip posted on Instagram says. “See you in South Africa.”
For the first time, “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” aired in 2004. At that time, Costa Cordalis was elected king of the jungle. In season two (also 2004), Désirée Nick secured the crown. Season three only followed in 2008 and made Ross Antony the king of the jungle. Other holders of the jungle crown were in the following seasons: Ingrid van Bergen (2009), Peer Kusmagk (2011), Brigitte Nielsen (2012), Joey Heindle (2013), Melanie Müller (2014), Maren Gilzer (2015), Menderes Bağcı ( 2016), Marc Terenzi (2017), Jenny Frankhauser (2018), Evelyn Burdecki (2019), Prince Damien (2020), Filip Pavlović (2022) and Djamila Rowe (2023).
“I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here! The Aftermath”
On February 18th from 8:15 p.m. on RTL, jungle camp fans can look forward to news from the 2024 jungle campers: In the “Aftermath” Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen reveal how the stars fared after returning to Germany. The celebrities will see each other again on the show for the first time since their stay in Australia.
