Mike Heiter is out of the jungle camp. Here he reveals why he is still “not disappointed” and what happens next with the ladies.

Reality star Mike Heiter (31) won the final of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” just missed. On Saturday he had to leave the camp with Fabio Knez (30). The “Love Island” star was particularly noticeable to viewers because of his ups and downs with his ex Kim Virginia (28) and his jungle flirtation with Leyla Lahouar (27). In an interview with the news agency spot on news, the 31-year-old reveals what happens next with the ladies after the RTL show (also on RTL+).

Why do you think it wasn’t enough for the final?

Mike Heiter: I don’t know exactly myself. I’ll put it this way: I’m happy to have reached the semi-finals. Of course, that is also a great achievement. Many, many people have already called me. For others, just a little more.

How disappointed are you about your expulsion?

Heiter: Not so disappointed: one sad eye, one smiling eye. Of course I would have liked to have ended up in the final or sat on the throne. But I’m also happy to be back in civilization.

Why did you resist Leyla’s advances so much?

Heiter: I was honest with myself and with Leyla. I honestly communicated how I felt and felt it. That I don’t like any physical activities here now because I felt unhygienic myself. I thought it would be better to be honest instead of pretending or forcing something.

Can you imagine getting to know Leyla outside of the show?

Heiter: Yes. We have remained in such a way that we definitely have contact beyond that. Like two normal people who kind of like each other. But we’ll see in the future whether it ends in a phase of getting to know each other or whether it continues like this.

Will there be a clarifying conversation with Kim or will you avoid her?

Heiter: I think I’ll avoid her. She went so overboard that I wouldn’t support a clarifying conversation. That’s why I prefer to avoid her.

Were you able to show viewers the real Mike?

Heiter: Yes, of course. The viewers definitely got to know the real Mike in the situations I had. And how he deals with extreme situations, for example with Kim. Only the funny parts were a bit inhibited because I felt so much negativity the whole time.

Who do you think will take the win?

Heiter: I don’t know. I give it to all three equally. All three have grown dear to my heart. All three are great people and everyone equally deserves to sit on the throne.

Who will you keep in touch with after the jungle?

Heiter: I think with everyone except Kim.
