Ice scraping on the car: Under these circumstances, a fine is imminent

See the video: Scratching ice on the car – under these circumstances, a fine is imminent.

Snow and sub-zero temperatures – for many drivers this means: ice scraping is the order of the day. But be careful: if you let your car warm up when you remove the window, you risk a fine of 80 euros plus administration fees. The regulation aims to protect the environment and avoid noise pollution. As a driver, you are obliged to remove ice from your front and side windows in order to ensure adequate visibility. If you only drive with a small peephole in the window, you not only risk an accident, but also a 10 euro fine. If your own car is covered with snow, for example, according to the ADAC, indicators, taillights, headlights, license plates, bonnet and the car roof must be freed so that they no longer pose a risk.
