EHC Red Bull Munich won the top game in the Ice Hockey Bundesliga (DEL) against Adler Mannheim 6:2 (2:0, 3:2, 1:0). The Munich team defended first place in the table ahead of Ingolstadt, while Mannheim is third. The EHC got off to a better start in front of 5728 spectators and led 3:0 after 21 minutes after goals from Maximilian Daubner, Frederik Tiffels and Yasin Ehliz. After that, Mannheim came back to 2:3 through Jordan Szwarz and Matt Donovan, but Munich pulled away again in the second period.
