While some keep a great secret about their vaccination status, James Blunt puts the cards on the table. The singer posted his complete collection of corona vaccines on Twitter – and showed British humor.
Astrazeneca, Biontech / Pfizer, Moderna – James Blunt had them all. The British singer-songwriter caused amusement with a photo of his vaccination certificates. “Guys, the government is giving out ‘free drugs’ and I’ll take them ALL,” wrote Blunt on Twitter, which means drugs can be translated as drugs or drugs.
In contrast to some other celebrities (see the Djokovic case), Blunt apparently sees no reason to keep his vaccination status a secret. On the contrary, the posting may be viewed as an advertisement by the singer for the vaccination. A curiosity on the side: while two vaccinations are for the real civil name James Blount, the third is his stage name James Blunt.
Apparently, Blunt has no concerns about individual vaccines. As the photo shows, the singer received the vaccine from Astrazeneca at the end of April, Moderna four months later and then Biontech / Pfizer as a booster shortly before Christmas. Blunt also has science on his side: Research has shown that the body’s immune response tends to be stronger when different vaccines are used. Most recently, one based in “The Lancet” published study this advantage of the so-called cross vaccination.

However, despite his exemplary vaccination schedule, Blunt caught a corona infection last year. In July, the singer got hit a few weeks before the planned stage comeback. At this point, Blunt was vaccinated once and had to struggle with severe symptoms, as the singer subsequently revealed.
Blunt obviously does not fear hostility from vaccine opponents. In a recent interview, he said his strategy for dealing with online hatred was ironic. Therefore, he even enjoys the insults. “It would be ridiculous to take the two people who are mean to me online and gossip about my music more seriously than the people who go to my concerts,” said Blunt.
