“I have no regrets”: RBB director Katrin Vernau takes stock – media

Of the 26 million more that RBB earned last year, the broadcaster can probably use around seven million. This emerges from the statements made by director Katrin Vernau on Thursday at the Broadcasting Council. Less the effects of the influx, the RBB would have to set aside 19 million, as is usual with additional income from contributions until the commission for determining the broadcasting contribution has been examined. However, it is precisely these immigration effects that are important – the broadcaster may keep and use contributions that flow from new households in the broadcasting area.
