“I arrive on a war scene”, Jean-Luc Wertenschlag recounts his evening of November 13, 2015 in his book Impacté

He was one of the first, if not the first, to intervene on the evening of the attacks of November 13, 2015. Jean-Luc Wertenschlag, president of the citizen collective of November 13, and on the front line during the tragic evening.

He lived above the terrace of the La Belle Équipe restaurant in Paris, where a terrorist attack took place which left 21 dead. When he heard the shots, the man who was still a hospital physiotherapist decided to intervene to help the injured even before help arrived.
