Humble Book Bundle “Hacking” offers up to 18 books and supports the EFF

Young hackers who love reading will get their money’s worth with the current “Humble Book Bundle” on the topic of hacking. Up to 18 e-books from No Starch Press – all written in English – provide plenty of material for the virtual bookcase. Thematically, the package covers many facets of IT security, such as the popular hacking framework Metasploit, Mac malware and Python programming for hackers and pentesters.

A real classic can also be found in the Humble Bundle: Jon Erickson’s “Hacking – The Art of Exploitation” in the second edition should not be missing from any well-stocked e-library. Anyone who is more interested in lucrative attacks on web applications will find what they are looking for at the “Bug Bounty Bootcamp”: The work promises an introduction to finding and reporting web vulnerabilities – for a reward, of course.

Anyone who pays the minimum price of 1 euro will receive “Metasploit – The Penetration Tester’s Guide” and Michal Zalewski’s guide “Silence on the Wire” to silent network exploration. At least €33.18 is due for the complete bundle of 18 e-books. After purchase, the e-books are available as PDF, ePub and MOBI files.

The beneficiary of the hacking book bundle is the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), which receives a portion of the purchase price. The Humble Book Bundle “Hacking” is available until December 17th.

There have already been book collections on the subject of IT security from the “Humble Bundle” series in the past, for example twice in 2019 and once in 2020.
