Hubert Aiwanger is said to have written an anti-Semitic leaflet as a schoolboy – Bavaria

Bavaria’s Deputy Prime Minister apparently spread right-wing extremist ideas in his youth. This is suggested by a document that has now surfaced. The Free Voters boss speaks of a “dirty campaign”.

The Bavarian Economics Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Hubert Aiwanger is suspected of having written an anti-Semitic leaflet as a schoolboy and distributing it in the Burkhart-Gymnasium in Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg. The Southgerman newspaper (SZ) spoke to several people who say that Aiwanger was held responsible as the author of this pamphlet. According to them, the school’s disciplinary committee met because of the leaflet and Aiwanger was punished. The SZ has the document with right-wing extremist content, which turned up in the school in the 1987/88 school year. At that time, Aiwanger was a student in the 11th grade at the Burkhart-Gymnasium.
