At the beginning of November, Alfred Dierlamm stands at the lectern, behind him the mighty sandstone pillars of the Berlin Museum for Communication. A legal conference. A Powerpoint presentation flickers on the screen, bullet points, no turned sentences. “Madness” is how the process is developing. The Wirecard case, he says, has to be completely rethought. “Whether it is actually a balance sheet scandal, or at least – also – something else, the process will now show,” he shouts. His words echo through the atrium.
