The French internal intelligence service, in charge in particular of spotting foreign agents, explains on its website that it recently revealed that French students or young workers had been approached by officers of the Russian foreign intelligence service, the SVR (ex -KGB), after having offered private lessons on classified ad sites in their field of specialty (economics, science, languages, geopolitics, etc.).
“A dozen people” contacted
