How rivalry between two gangs led to the death of an 18-year-old

With him, two 16-year-old minors, one of whom has already been convicted of violence in a meeting.

There, five people from Labarthe were waiting for them. The brawl began with bare hands between the two main representatives of the rival gangs. It degenerated quickly, according to the prosecution, and one of the suspects stabbed the 18-year-old from Labarthe in the heart.

Another participant, close to the main victim, was also hit in the abdomen.

Referred to court on Tuesday

Quickly, all the participants left the scene with the exception of the main victim, who was dying, who died when help arrived.

Thanks to the investigations, the three accused, including the one suspected of having delivered the fatal blow – the 18-year-old Muretain – were arrested on Sunday morning by the Muret research brigade of the national gendarmerie seized of the investigation.

Unless there is any new information, they will be referred today to the prosecution and presented to an investigating judge with a view to their indictment for murder, for two of them aged 1/8 and 16 years old, and attempted murder for the last also aged 16.
