After having liquidated a few drivers reluctant to teach her, here she comes across a mafioso played by Cheky Karyo…
“Laure Calamy quickly seemed obvious to me, confides Jonathan Barré to 20 minutes. She had the temperament and the fantasy necessary to slip into the skin of this heroine. ” The viewer quickly gets carried away in the footsteps of this “Calamity Laure”, murderous pursued by simple policemen played by Grégoire Ludig and David Marsais.
More a genre film than a parody
” Good behavior is not really a parody, rather a genre film with comic elements”, insists Jonathan Barré. This is what makes the charm of a thriller where there is no lack of suspense between drug trafficking, mourning and settling scores. “It is perhaps because I was brought up by my grandparents that I have such a taste for 1980s cinema which mixed styles”, recognizes the filmmaker. He also pays homage to this period by interpreting himself The highway of love, the song from his film, an irresistible pastiche emblematic of the humor of the whole.
With its mischievously feminist message and very personal morality, Good behavior does good by also offering tasty appearances by stars that we have fun recognizing. We laugh really heartily in very good company then, at the exit, we begin to dream of the next feature film by Jonathan Barré, a zombie film in the process of being written. Yum !
